The Incubator for Artificial Intelligence is based out of the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). We are a unit of expert engineers (applied AI, evaluation, platform), cross-cutting functions (design, product, delivery, ops) and civil service strategists, working together to deliver transformative AI for the public.
With most of the team hired from outside the civil service, the Incubator blends start-up speed with public impact.
We bring together the UK's best AI talent, build novel solutions in a high-agency environment, and focus on the benefit of AI for citizens by relentlessly pursuing outcomes that improve lives.
