Originally, Karsten Aichholz started this website as his personal blog. As a German expat living in Thailand, he wanted to share what he learned from his ten years of experience with living and running businesses in the country. Because of the in-depth, unmatchable guides he published, the website became popular and expanded into ExpatDen in 2018.
ExpatDen is made up of a team of expats who have been living and working abroad for significant parts of their lives. They write detailed, practical guides based on firsthand experiences to help others navigate expat life. The site covers topics like health insurance, residency programs, moving abroad, and more, serving as a comprehensive resource for global expats.
