The APNIC Foundation is the pre-eminent digital development organisation in the Asia Pacific, focused on creating human impact across communities. It evolved from technical roots and applies that knowledge to support a global, open, stable, and secure Internet that is affordable and accessible for people across the region.
Established in 2016, the Foundation drives digital transformation through initiatives in building capabilities, driving digital innovation, and supporting digital transformation. It manages the Information Society Innovation Fund (ISIF Asia), which has provided over 230 grants and awards since 2008, investing significantly in Internet and digital development projects across the Asia Pacific.
The Foundation also partners with institutions like Keio University to support programs such as the School on Internet Asia (SOI Asia), promoting collaboration in Internet research and education. With a mission to bridge digital divides, it accelerates internet specialist careers and serves 56 economies across the region.
